Competition Cheerleading became sanctioned by the Georgia High Association in 1994.  Rosemary Wright, long time cheerleading sponsor, became their first official coach and remained the head coach thru the 1999 season.  She led the Lady Devils to a top 10 finish each year from 1995 and culminated this fine streak with a State Championship in 1999.  At the time it was the first state crown for a Red Devil team event since the late 1980s.  After a year away, Rosemary returned as an assistant to Perian Simmons and then Maria Hulett.

In 2006, Hilary Barker will begin her sixth year as a cheerleader coach.  She started the Pulaski Middle School cheerleader squad in the fall of 2001.  She coached the PCMS squad for two years.  Beginning in the fall of 2003, Hilary started working with the HHS Varsity Cheerleading Squad as an assistant coach to Maria Hulett.  Currently, she is the Head Football Cheerleading Coach and Assistant Competition Cheerleading Coach
